Janice W. Stewart

(Fancher) Janice W. Stewart age 80, passed away March 21, 2025 at Highland Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 25, 1945, in Albion, a daughter of the late James and Genevieve Williams and had lived in this area all of her life.

Janice graduated from Holley High School. She worked at Eastman Kodak for 32 years retiring in 1998. Janice had such a hard work ethic that after retirement she worked for PetSmart for many years and after, worked at Walmart for 16 years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Sr; siblings Beverly Lee, Nancy Burch, Shirley Stratton, Linda May Williams.

She is survived by her son Robert E. Jr, (Tammy) Stewart; daughter Brenda A. Bridges; grandchildren Crystal G. Bridges, Derek M. Bridges, Brian R. (Trina) Stewart; great-grandchildren Rosalynn A. Bridges, Seth, Madison, Ajah Stewart; sister Jane (Daniel) Ross; brother Lawrence (Linda) Williams as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 21 W. Ave. Albion Tuesday March 25th 4:00pm-7:00pm where her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 12:00pm. Burial will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620.
