Obituary of Jason Hastings Jason "Jay" Hastings age 44 died February 16, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Jay was born February 5, 1971 in Kenmore, NY and had lived in this area most of his life. Jay had served in the US Air Force. He loved to hunt and play softball. He is survived by his wife Kelly; his son Shane and daughter Olivia; his sister Barbara (Justin) Day of Albion; brothers Kenneth (Christine) Hastings of Albion, Damon (April) Hastings of Albion, Brandon (Tracy) Hastings of Alexander, John Herring of Albion, Donn Herring of Albion; his mother Joyce (John) Herring of Albion; father Cecil (Maria) Hastings of Newfane and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Saturday February 21st 2:00pm-5:00pm.
