Jean A Brooks

Albion: Jean A. Brooks, age 98, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024. She was born July 30, 1925 in Albion to the late Hartwell and Bina (Fox) Babbitt.

Jean was a longtime member of One Catholic-Holy Family Parish and had also worked for many years at Marine Midland Bank in Albion

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband F. Gerald Brooks, son Coley Brooks, brother Charles Babbitt, sister Helen Barnard and her son-in-law John Williams.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Carol Williams, grandchildren Brooke (Jason) Foote and Corey (Corlyn) Webster; great-grandchildren Jacob, Emma and Garrison Foote, Cameron, Connor and Collin Webster; neighbors Ted and Gerry Swiercznski, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jean’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Thursday January 25, from 11:00am to 1:00pm where her funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be held at Mt. Albion Cemetery. Jean’s family invites everyone to the Albion Elks Lodge after the service.
