Obituary of Jean Wilma Fischer Jean Wilma Fischer (Atkinson), age 84, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Absolut Care in Gasport. Born April 8, 1932, Jean is the daughter of the late: William and Jennie (Kramer) Atkinson. Jean was married to Edward O. Fischer. Mr. Fischer died in October of 1977. Jean worked as a factory worker at Niagara Foods in Middleport, NY. Jean enjoyed flowers, and all animals. She was a member of the Barker Senior and the Gasport Jet Set. Surviving Jean is her children: William (Susan) Fischer, Ann Cogar (David Henning) and Genevieve Carey. Sister of: Kathy Curry (Frank). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Friday from 3-6 pm. Funeral Services will be held from the funeral home on Saturday at 11 am. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to: Save – a – pet.
