Jeanette Elizabeth Kelly

Avon: Jeanette Elizabeth Kelly, age 82, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on March 15, 2022. She was born March 4, 1940 in Mumford, NY to the late Bernard and Esther (Pritchard) Hayward Sr.

Jeanette loved knitting, crocheting, reading, and cats. She worked for many years at the Avon Nursing Home and also as a nurse’s aide at a group home for disabled adults. Jeanette had a tremendous love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Bernard Jr. and Marcia Gleber.

Jeanette is survived by her husband Edward, children, Mary (Michael) Kozub, Patricia (Stephen) Baxter, Jeffrey (Amie) Ryan, Lisa (Charles) Warney, grandchildren, Rachel (Ron) Hobbs, Sarah (Bill) Anderson, Joseph Warney, Zachary Warney, Timothy Warney, Ari Warney, Isabella Warney, Patrick Kozub, Jesse Kozub, Jessica (Tommy) Edelbrock, Melissa (Matt) Hatt, several great-grandchildren, sister, Alice (Gary) Bubel, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Service for Jeanette will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in Jeanette’s name may be made to Supportive Care of Orleans 14080 Route 31 West, Albion, NY 14411.

Jeanette’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Albion, NY.
