Obituary of Jennifer Banker Bourbonnais, IL. Jennifer died Friday October 26, 2012 at her residence following a long illness. She was born on October 26, 1947 in Ithaca, NY, the daughter of the late Richard and Kathryn Spike Sovereign. She married Henry J. "Hank" Banker on December 23, 1982 in Phelps, NY. Jennifer was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Momence ,IL. She had been a lab technician for VanDrunen Farms for more than 10 years and enjoyed reading, shopping and swimming.
She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Sovereign and two sisters, Delores Cosentino and Beverly Gregorio. She is survived by her husband, Henry "Hank" Banker of Bourbonnais, IL; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Bill Miller of Clifton Springs, NY; two grandchildren, Jordon and Shannon Miller; sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Bob Hopper of Momence, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Dianne Sovereign of Buffalo, NY, Daniel Sovereign of Milledgeville, GA. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue Albion, NY. Friday November 2, from 2:00-7:00. Services
Prayers will be said at the Funeral Home, Saturday at 10:30, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish (W. Park St. Albion) at 11:00. Interment
