Obituary of Jesse Miller Barre: Jesse E. Miller age 91, passed away suddenly August 5, 2014 at Unity Hospital. He was born January 1, 1923 in the Town of Barre a son of the late Samuel and Velma (Brooks) Miller. Jesse lived in the Town of Barre all of his life and was a Dairy Farmer for 45 years. Jesse enjoyed playing cards, going to farm auctions and meeting friends for breakfast at the Apollo Restaurant.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred in 2005. He is survived by his sons, Richard (Sharon) Miller of Barre, Alan (Susie) Miller of Barre, Kevin (Chris Proctor) Miller of Albion; grandchildren, Rebecca (Adam) Grillo, Paula, Steven, Kaitlyn, Scott, Zachary (Anita), Corey (Kaitlyn), Michaela, Jacoby, Tegan; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy (Henry) Hansen of Henrietta; brothers-in-law, Bernard Robertson, George (Shirley) Robertson of Holley; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Friday from 5:00-8:00, where his Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11:00am. Interment will be at Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Visitation
