Obituary of Jessie M. Blood Jessie M. (Annalora) Blood, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 5, 2014. Born in Lockport on June 23, 1934, Jessie is the daughter of the late Ignatious and Mary (Beaumonte) Annalora. Jessie married Myron Blood on September 11, 1954 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Lockport. She had worked at Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Newfane as a Registered Records Librarian, retiring in 1994 after 14 years. Jessie was a member of St. Brendan’s on the Lake R.C. Church (St. Charles site) where she sang in the church choir and was also a member of the local Democratic Committee. She enjoyed camping, baking and riding motorcycles with her husband. Jessie had lived in Newfane most of her life, as well as Haines City, Florida. Surviving Jessie is her husband Myron F. Blood. Mother of: Carla (Randy) Nellist of Albion. She was predeceased by two children: Kim Francis Blood in 1981 and Wade Myron Blood in 2012. Mother-in-law of: Pamela Blood of Lockport. Grandmother of: Joshua (Anat) Nellist of Rochester, Andy Blood of Wisconsin, Kimberly (Derek) Nellist-Ortiz of Bath, Sarah (Brian) Quackenbush of Jacksonville, FL, Michael Blood of Lockport, NY, Adam (Katie) Nellist of Lowell, MA and Thomas (Meghan) Degnan of WIsconsin. Great grandmother of: Calvin Blood, Amelia Quackenbush, Owen Ortiz, Aubrey Ortiz and Isaac Nellist-Kohn. Sister of: Anthony and Carolyn Annalora of Florida and the late Sam Beaumonte, Teddy Annalora, Mary Grillo and Anita Brandt. Sister-in-law of: Betty Annalora of Florida. Jessie is also survived by many special and wonderful friends: Janet and Jim McAvoy of NC and Barbara and Milton Sutch of Barker. Several nieces and nephews also survive Jessie. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 11:00 am from St. Brendan’s on the Lake, St. Charles site, 5972 East Main Street, Olcott, NY with the Father Jozef Dudzik officiating. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery, Lockport, NY. Memorials appreciated to Miller Hose Volunteer Fire Company.
