1943-2023

Jimmie Lee Thompson was born October 23, 1943 in Carrabelle, Florida to Samuel Thompson Jr. and Lucille Melton Thompson. He departed from this life on October 13, 2023.

During his early career years, Jimmie was a construction worker and welder. He worked for the Rochester City School District until he retired. He enjoyed cooking and his favorite hobby was horse racing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Wilber Roberts and Samuel Thompson III, and his sister Thomasene Lattimore.

To cherish his memories, he leaves his children, sons - Kenneth Thompson of Albion, NY, Tony Thompson of Albion, NY, Lance Thompson, and daughter KristyAnne (David) Thompson Boyd of Desoto, TX; siblings: Lucy Ann Franklin, Jean Peterson and Marlon (Susan) White all of Florida and Harry Hawkins of Buffalo.

Jimmie’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Saturday, October 21st from 12:00-2:00pm.
