Jo Ann Standley

Obituary of Jo Ann Standley (GASPORT) Jo Ann Standley, age 62, died August 25, 2021 following a brief illness. She was born December 1, 1958 to Raymond and Geraldine (Hetzinger) Sink and had lived in this area most of her life. Jowas a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she had been a Sunday School Teacher. She also served as a Boy Scout Leader and was volunteer at the Barker Central School for various events. In addition, Jo Ann was an avid reader, enjoyed BINGO, playing on her computer and loved to drive and go on road trips. Ms. Stanley was predeceased by her two husbands: Thomas Tatu and Randy Standley. She is survived by her son: Michael Tatu of Wrights Corners, her daughter: Jamie Tatu of Lockport, her brothers: Thomas (Deanna) Sink of SC, John (Amy) Sink of Albion, Bill Sink, her sisters: Jennifer (Victor) Buchalski of Hartland, Kathy (Russell) Pierce, her mother: Geraldine Sink, 9 grandchildren including: Alexander Ralph, Samantha Tatu, Melanie Tatu, Alley Cat Webb, several nieces and nephews and a dear friend: Mary Sink. The will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend her memorials service Thursday September 16 at 3 pm in Zion Lutheran Church, 4447 Central Avenue, Gasport, NY. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 4447 Central Ave., Gasport, NY, 14067.
