Joan E. Janus, age 73 of Roosevelt Highway, died 3/6/11 in Lakeside Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born 10/4/1937 in Rochester to Thomas and Elizabeth(Schillinger)Gavin and had lived in this area over 40 years. Joan was a member of Holy Family Parish, and the Carlton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, tending to her flowers, reading, and being with family and friends, as she was a very social person.
