Obituary of Joann M. DiMatteo Albion: Joann M. DiMatteo, 69, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, at the Martin Linsin Residence on Monday January 23, 2017. She was born August 25, 1947 in Lockport, NY a daughter of the late Jason and Virginia (Sherman) Jeffords. Joann retired from Bernz O Matic after 35 years of service. Joann enjoyed shopping, but received the greatest joy being with her grandchildren.
Joann is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Melissa) DiMatteo and Jeremy (Brandi) DiMatteo; grandchildren, Peyton, Avery, Jace and Braelyn DiMatteo; siblings, Jacqueline Romanowski, Jason (Diana) Jeffords Jr. and Wendy Tooley; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services and interment will be private at Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411.
