Joanne Mackay

(Medina)  Joanne Mackay age 62 passed away unexpectedly February 11, 2022 at Buffalo General Hospital.  She was born January 16, 1960 in Yonkers, NY a daughter of the late Aldo and Silena (Scopino) Mordini and had lived in this area since 2006.

Joanne worked as an Administrative Assistant at ARC in Albion for many years.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, riding her motorcycle and her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Stephen and David Mordini.

She is survived by her husband Darryl; her son David (Ellissa) Heine; her daughter Silena Heine; grandsons Owen Heine and Robert Moore IV as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion Tuesday February 15th 4:00pm-7:00pm where her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11:00am.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Medina.  Memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion NY 14411.
