Joel Hackenberg

Obituary of Joel Hackenberg Medina: Joel D. Hackenberg, 51, died suddenly at his home on October 8, 2014. He was born April 17, 1963 in Brockport, a son of the late Robert and Clara (Kingdollar) Hackenberg. Joel was a graduate of Albion High School and served in the US Army Reserves for 13 years as a Combat Engineer and Drill Instructor at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri.
He is survived by his children, Crystal (Timothy) Elliott of Medina, Candace Hackenberg of Knowlesville, Thomas Hackenber of Shelby, Samantha Hackenberg of Medina; granddaughter, Madelyn; brothers, Alan (Sue) Hackenberg of Albion, Steven (Cheri) Hackenberg of Irondequoit, Mark (Lorna) Hackenberg of Albion; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, faithful companion, Libby.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Saturday October 11, from 1:00-2:00, where his Funeral Service will follow at 2:00. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Donate Life. Visitation
