Obituary of John Timothy Boyer Sr. John Timothy Boyer, Sr., 73, of Albion, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 16, 2020. He was born on November 1, 1946 in Albion, a son of the late Milton and Margaret (Tyler) Boyer, and lived in this area all of his life. John graduated from Albion High School in 1964. He was a tool maker and retired from General Motors in Rochester in 1999, after 30 years of service. John was a kind and giving person, who enjoyed boating, fishing, and the great outdoors. He loved going for car rides and looking for deer. Tinkering around in his garage and fixing things was a pastime he enjoyed. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy. He loved playing with his grandchildren as they grew and attending their sporting and school events. He is dearly treasured and missed. Besides his parents, John is predeceased by his brother, Kenny, and his brother-in-law, Roy Allen. John is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rosemary (Kaminski) Boyer of Albion, brother, Milton (Dorothy) Boyer of Albion, sister, June (Boyer) Allen of Albion, and brother-in-law Richard (Sylvia) Kaminski of Kansas. His children Lisa (Darrin) Ettinger of Albion and John (Zoe) Boyer of Lockport; his grandchildren Nicholas and Jacob Ettinger and Quinn, Reilly, and Zara Boyer. Several cousins, nieces, and nephews. His graveside service will be at Mount Albion Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans or P.A.W.S.
