John Robert Brown II

(Lockport) John Robert Brown II, age 68, of Lockport NY , entered into rest on October 17, 2021. Born June 10, 1953, John is the son of the late John “Jack” and Lois (Frederick) Brown and sister Sue A. Brown

He was a devoted husband of Janice Brown for 40 years; beloved father to John (Kerry) Brown III of Sanborn. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law Bill (Rose) McQueen; sisters-in-law Carol (John) Williams, Dawn (Mike) Duckworth and the late Cheryl (Tony) Schepis and several nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.

John was employed by General Motors for 35 years before retiring in October 2006. John enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, family get-togethers, which he out ate everyone, and working at Roberts Farm during apple harvest.

In earlier years, he marched in Drum Corps, which always stayed close to his heart, and he played softball.

The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., Gasport, Friday October 22nd from 4-7pm, where his Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10am. Interment at Hartland Cemetery.
