Obituary of John C. Fitch (HOLLEY)
John C. Fitch, age 77, died 5/13/2017 in his home following a brief illness and while under Hospice care. He was born 7/28/1939 in Kentucky to Andy and Julie Fitch and had lived in this area for over 50 years. John worked for over 36 years at the Flour City Tissue Mill. He enjoyed many hobbies but some of his favorites were hunting, gardening, fishing and going to the casino. Mr. Fitch was predeceased by a daughter: April, brothers: Taylor, Gordon, Brush and a sister: Pearl. He is survived by his spouse of 13 years, Alice Jett, his children: Jeffery (Mary) Fitch of Rochester, Keith (Ruby) Fitch of KY, Jolena (Kenneth) Hale of KY, Crystal (Scott) Marks of Albion, Abby Fitch of Holley, his brothers: Jess (Berneda) Fitch of OH, Virgil Fitch of SC, sister: Rose (Bill) Blackburn of OH, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, WEDNESDAY from 11 a.m.-12 Noon where John’s Funeral Service will be held at Noon following visitation. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Brockport. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY, 14411.
