Obituary of John E. Garbutt Jack worked for Labors Union Local #91 retiring in 1994 after 40 years. An avid card player, he was the treasurer of the Lockport Euchre League for 20 years. He was also a member of the Turtle and Screwball Clubs. He loved all sports, always supporting the “Underdog”. In his later years Jack found great enjoyment watching FOX news. Jack’s greatest love was for his wife and family. Jack is survived by his Loving wife of 55 years Penelope (Kowalski) Garbutt, 5 Children: Michael (Eileen) Garbutt of Davie, FL, Rebecca ( Douglas) Petti of Lockport, Scott (Tracey MacDonald) Garbutt of Middleport, Julie (Steve) Binkley of St. Petersburg FL and John Jay (Audra Smith) Garbutt of Lockport, NY, 14 Grandchildren: Nicole, Chris & Denise, Chantel &James, Tara, Andrew, Noelle, John (JW), Tyler, Brianna, Felicia, Chad and Andrea, 2 Great Grand Children: Jordan and Kayne, 1 Sister Joan (Gary) Halstead and predeceased by a brother Robert (Sylvia) Garbutt and 2 nephews G.Jay (Deborah) Halstead and Jeffrey Halstead. Jack’s greatest wish was to be a donor . At the age of 81 we thought impossible, but not so. We learned that they could use all kinds of “parts”. Wish granted, “Thank you Lord“. Jack’s Family would appreciate the loving support and prayers, from relatives and friends, on Saturday July 12th from 2pm-? in their home at 7233 Chestnut Ridge Rd Lockport, NY .
