Obituary of John B. Goff John graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Hotel Administration and worked throughout the U.S. managing hotels and restaurants, including the Treadway Inn, (where he also became a regional V.P.) and Genesee Valley Club locally. John proudly served as a Captain in the army during WW II. John was twice commended by superior commanders for his meritorious service while in Dachau, Germany and received Efficiency Rating of "Superior" throughout the tour of duty as an officer. John received a Bronze Star Medal, along with other decorations for his dedication to the United States of America. John was an avid bird watcher, fisherman and gardener. He enjoyed playing bridge, dining out, watching sports, (especially Cleveland teams and the Florida Gators), and spending time with friends and his dog, Taffy.
