Obituary of John Kaminski (ALBION)
John "Tony" Kaminski Jr., age 75 of McKinstry Street, died 2/12/2014 at his residence following a long illness. He was born 11/5/1938 in Carlton to John and Nellie(Snaith)Kaminski and had lived in this area all of his life. Mr. Kaminski was a US Air Force Veteran serving from 1957-1961. Tony belonged to the Sheret Post American Legion, Concordia Lutheran Church in Kendall, and was a former member of the BPO Elks and past Secretary of the WNYVFA Bowling Tournament. He was a graduate of RBI and RIT and had worked as a Registered Accountant for several businesses in the area. Tony enjoyed coin collecting, cherished his collection of Utica Club Beer Steins and had a great love for his cats. Mr. Kaminski was predeceased by his parents, a brother: Joseph, and sisters: Gloria and Mary Kaminski. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years Sharon, his daughter: Kim(Robert)Rowley of CO, brother: Arthur(Jacqueline)Kaminski of Clarendon, granddaughters: Brittani(Kyle), Alicia(Jordon) as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, FRIDAY 2/21 from 4-7 pm. Family and friends are invited to attend Tony's Funeral Service SATURDAY 2/22 in Concordia Lutheran Church-Kendall beginning at 11 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be held in the Spring at Bates Road Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Church. Visitation
