Obituary of John F. Pahura (ALBION)
John F. “Paha” Pahura, age 78 of Clarendon Street, died 8/17/2016 in Medina Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. John was born 12/10/1937 in Albion to Thomas and Valerie Pahura and was a life-long resident of this area. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, a member of Holy Family Parish, the St. Mary’s Athletic Club, the Albion VFW and had retired from Eastman Kodak in 1991. John was a rabid New York Yankees fan, a New York Giants fan, but the true loves of his life were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Pahura was predeceased by his wife Dorothy, a brother: Thomas, and sisters: Marge Scibetta and Rita Pahura. He is survived by his children: Michael Pahura of TN, Eileen (Dale) Banker of Albion, Karen (Jerry) Walls of Albion, brother: Edward (Loretta) Pahura of Albion, 5 grandchildren: Stephanie (Eric), Amber, Adam, Allan, Aaron, great-grandchildren: Connor and Landon as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service followed by Military Honors FRIDAY at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Cemetery-Albion.
