Obituary of John L. Weaver John L. Weaver, age 71, of Gasport, entered into rest on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born January 9, 1948, John is the son of the late: Paul and Dorothy (Vorholzer) Weaver. John married Cindy Greene on March 18, 1972 in Lockport. He joined the Army serving from 1968- 1970. John was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping, watching the Buffalo Bills and making people laugh. He had a “Big Heart” and loved to help people. He also was an amateur woodworker. He was a past member of the VFW in Lockport and the Moose Lodge of Lockport. He worked at General Motors in Lockport retiring in 1999 as a material handler. Surviving John is his loving wife: Cindy and children: Jennifer Weaver (Brian Naughton), Windy Weaver, Mike Weaver; grandchildren: Madilyn and Marina Ferreira. Brother of: Frank Weaver, Mary (Jerry) Stadelman and the late Carol Beauman, Ruth Beiter and David Weaver. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:30 am at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, NY.
