Obituary of John E. Weiss (Rochester/Albion) John E. “Jack” Weiss age 89 died on February 26, 2018 at the Martin-Linsin Residence in Albion. He was born December 14, 1928 in Rochester, the son of the late John A. and Lillian (Geisler) Weiss and had lived in this area for the past 10 years. Jack is one of the surviving members of the Butterhole Athletic Club (BAC) and is a member of Holy Family Parish. He had worked at Eastman Kodak, retiring in 1986. Jack was an avid golfer. He was predeceased by his wife Rita, whom he was married to for 59 years and also his daughter Marian Weiss Ziegler. He is survived by his children Jeanne (Charles Louy) Weiss of Santa Monica CA, John R. (Fran) Weiss Edmonds WA, Carol (Mike) Ciarimboli of Brentwood TN, Thomas (Deborah) Weiss of Rome NY, Katherine Weiss of Williamsville NY, Janet (James) Sorrels of Columbus OH, Lauren (Jon) Barleben of Albion; grandchildren Zara Louy, Emilia Louy, Erin (Noble Jones) Ciarimboli, Brian Ciarimboli, Kylie (Jeremy) Hauze, Cara (Mathias) Hensley, Kristen (Wesley) Sanders, Katie (Scott) DeFranco-Norton, Kaitlin Weiss-Silvestri, Matthew Sorrels, Adam Sorrels, Justin (Kathleen) Barleben, Alex Barleben, Connor Barleben, Emilie Barleben; son-in-law Chris Ziegler of Pittsfield MA as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at (Note Location) Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, 12 Ingersoll St. Albion on Thursday from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
