Obituary of Joseph J. (Sr.) Muoio (Holley/Albion)
Joseph J. Muoio, Sr., age 84 formerly of Holley now of Albion, died 1/9/08 in Lakeside Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born June 21, 1923 in Rochester to Luigi and Carmella(Cuscuna)Muoio and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mr. Muoio was a United States Army Veteran of WWII having served in the European Theatre of Operations. A member of St. Mary R.C. Church, Joe was also a 38 year employee of Delco Products, the Holley American Legion, and was a former NY State Handball Champion. Joe was an avid NY Yankee fan and found great pleasure spending time with his family. He will also be known for planting an over-sized garden and giving most of its produce away to family and friends.
