Obituary of Joseph C. Piazza Joseph C. Piazza age 90 died March 18, 2013 at Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in Brockport. He was born October 21, 1922 in Albion, a son of the late Charles and Rose (Restivo) Piazza and had lived in this area all of his life. Joe had owned and operated Piazza's Green Houses in Albion for over 60 years. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Knights of Columbus, Lions Club and was a volunteer fireman and life member of the Albion Fire Department. He was predeceased by his wife Rose in 2004 whom he was married to for 60 years; his sisters Rose Spalla and Anna Pisa-Relli; son-in-law David Ellis; granddaughter Mary Beth Fonseca and grandson Patrick Monagan. He is survived by his children Linda Ellis of Brockport, Richard Piazza of Houston TX, Laurie (John) Piazza-Howard of Churchville; grandchildren Christine Proctor, Katherine Monagan, Mark Howard; 5 great-grandchildren Brett and Ellie Proctor, Tyler and Parker Monagan, Bianca Fonseca; sister-in-law Julia Baum of Brockport and several nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no prior calling hours. His Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday March 21st at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cancer Society or Holy Family Parish. Visitation
