Obituary of Joseph L. Quaranto Holley: Joseph L. Quaranto age 69, died June 21, 2017 at home with his family. He was born August 11, 1947 in Albion, NY, a son of the late Joseph and Jane (Molisoni) Quaranto and had lived in Holley all his life. Joe is predeceased by his brother Nick. Joe was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Joe was an author, racecar driver, classic Mustang restorer and a Bills and Sabres fan. Joe loved racing with his son Andy and his many friends he made in racing across the country and in Canada. He also shared his love of racing with his daughter Wendy and his grandsons. Most of all Joe was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He loved spending time with his family and traveling to Disney with them. Joe is survived by his wife of 43 years Karen, his children Wendy (Noah) Yousey and Andrew (Dara) Quaranto. He is also survived by his grandsons, one of the joys of his life, Ian Yousey, Edison Quaranto and Drew Quaranto. He is also survived by his nephew Michael (Sandy) Quaranto, their children, as well as Darlene (Paul) Quaranto and Diann Quaranto and her sons. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rte. 31 Holley on Tuesday, June 27th 3-6 followed by a memorial service at 6pm. Burial will be in Pembroke at the Western New York National Cemetery with Full Military Honors at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lipson Cancer Center.
