Obituary of Josephine C. Lusk Holley: Josephine Lusk (Barber) died peacefully on February 7, 2017. She was born Jan. 11, 1926 in Clarendon, NY, a daughter of Anthony and Angeline Barber (Sauro). She was a lifelong, faithful member of St. Mary’s Church, Holley, and said the rosary daily. She supported St. Jude’s Hospital for children, and any Veterans. She was a devoted grandmother and attended soccer and baseball games, and was an armchair coach. She was an avid walker. She had a 40 year career at Delco, General Electric and Black and Decker, combined. In between, she worked for farmers, and the cider mill. She was married in 1950 to Fred Lusk and had two sons. She enjoyed a very close relationship with her sisters, and had many friends that will miss her pizzelles and pies. She loved baking, shopping with the “ladies” and travel. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Michael Barber, her sisters, Marion Wieczorek and Jeanette Barber. Surviving are Fred Lusk III (Terry) of New Mexico, and David Lusk (Pamela) of Albion, four grandchildren, Jason Lusk, Jaclyn (Sal) Villa, Peter Lusk (Sarah) Courtney Lusk; and a sister Antionette Barber. She enjoyed a special relationship with her nephew and niece Michael and Toni Barber, and her great niece Jenna Barber. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Route 31, Holley, on Sunday, February 12th from 1:00-4:00pm. Josephine’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Holley at 10:00am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Albion.
