Obituary of Josie Amia Scott Josie Amia (Scott) Soule, of Brockport, formerly of Albion, passed away February 15, 2021. She was born in Albion on June 30, 1982 to Lillie Mae Butler and the late James Lee Scott. Josie was loved by many people and will be missed dearly by her children, fiancé Josh, family, friends and may she rest in peace. In addition to her father James, she was predeceased by her sisters, Bertha, Darlene and Diane, maternal grandmother, Bertha Mae Smith and paternal grandmother, Rosalee Washington. Josie is survived by her fiancé of 16 years, Joshua Soule, children Phoenix Joshua Lee Soule (13), Amia Maelee Soule (4), mother, Lillie Mae (Robert) Ivey, sisters, Tyneshia Butler, Shanla Beasley, Chiffon Scott, God sister, Tamara Gardner, brothers, James Scott, James Scott, James Scott, mother-in-law, Tammy Smith, brother-in-law Dustin (Danire) Soule, paternal grandparents, “Gram” and “Pap”, uncle, Danny Smith, uncle James Donald, aunt, Barbara Donald, as well as many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Monday, February 22 from 10:00-12:00pm where her service will follow at 12:00pm. Interment will be held at Mt. Albion Cemetery. Please note the Funeral Home will be operating at 50% capacity per state guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.
