Joyce June Bliss

Obituary of Joyce June Bliss (Town of Murray) Joyce “June” Reamer Bliss age 88 passed on Sunday November 19, 2017 at Unity Hospital. She was born May 29, 1929 to Gladys Violet (Laycock) and Stanley Curtis Reamer of Murray and had lived in this area all of her life. She was salutatorian of the Kendall Central School class of 1947. She was happily married for 63 years to her husband, Roy Dillon Bliss until his death on December 27, 2010. June was a lifelong homemaker and she always put caring for family members first. She is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Peter) Notaro, Dawn (William) Ingham and a son, Terry (Cookie) Bliss. Grandchildren include Christina (Charles) Notaro Civiletto and Carrie (Justin) Notaro Harmon; Lynn (Donald) Ingham Beers and Kenneth Ingham; Ann Bliss Jordan and Sandra Bliss. Great-grandchildren include Sierra and Paige Beers and Jacob, Alexander, Lily and Ryan Ingham. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rte. 31 Holley on Friday November 24th 5:00pm-7:00pm where her Funeral Service will follow at 7:00pm. Private burial will be in Sandy Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Fancher Hulberton Murray Fire Co. and Ambulance, PO Box 195, Fancher NY 14452 or to the organization of one’s choice.
