Obituary of Joyce A Halstead Albion-
Joyce A. Fadale-Halstead, 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at her home. She was born in Albion and remained her during her lifetime where she raised her family. She was a homemaker and enjoyed arts & crafts, reading, and spending time with her family. For a time, she had worked in a greenhouse where she found pleasure in tending to the flowers.
She was predeceased by husbands, Charles Fadale and James Halstead Sr; 2 daughters, Paula Mapes and Charla Carpenter. She is survived by a daughter, Lori (Donald) Fadale-Wilkins of Binghamton; Son in laws, Jim Mapes and Clifford Carpenter; Grandchildren, Cliff, Kevin, Kurt and Kimberly Carpenter, Tim Mapes and Tracey Mapes whom cared for Joyce during the last years of her life, and Charlie Wilkins; Great Grandchildren, Karlos "Charlie", Sarah, Jimmy, Katie, Kacey, McKenna, Zachery, Kyle, Kreg, Brandon,Ty, and Mitchell; Great Great Grandchildren, Brayden,Bryce and Jacob; Nieces, Nephews and friends. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Mt. Albion Cemetery at 1:00pm.
