Obituary of Joyce Marie Maxon Joyce Maxon died peacefully November 11, 2012. Joyce was born May 30, 1934 in Rochester and attended Ben Franklin High School. She was a former member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked at Blue Cross prior to her marriage. She was a member of the Holley First Presbyterian Church. On May 2, 1959, Joyce married Glenn Maxon and became a farm girl. She enjoyed travel and had many memorable trips, but was happiest at home with her family, her house and the farm.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Aurelia Reisig. She is survived by her loving husband, Glenn; children, Charles (Jeanne) Maxon and Amy Marquez; grandchildren, Cory Maxon, Taylor (Kirsten) Marquez, Rachel and Sara Maxon; brother-in-law, Clyde (Ida) Maxon of FL; sister-in-law, Jane (Tom) Bowdler of Holley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Holley First Presbyterian Church, 34 E. Albion St. Holley NY 14470. Visitation
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00. Services
Her Funeral Service will be held at the Holley First Presbyterian Church, 34 E. Albion St. Thursday at 11:00am. Interment
