Kathleen D. Lee

Rochester:

Kathleen D. Lee, age 73, passed away on March 5, 2025. She was born on August 22, 1951, in Rochester, New York to the late Delbert and Rose (Giarrizzo) Kehler. She lived in Rochester all her life and was a homebody.

Kathleen worked as an associate for the Sibley’s Department store and enjoyed wrapping Christmas gifts during the season until 1969. She was a member of the Lave Avenue Baptist Church. She was interested in medical science since her mother and sister were a part of anatomical donation. Kathleen liked collecting knick-knacks, mainly anything that was dolphins, cheetah print, or Winnie the Pooh. She also liked couponing, and you could always catch her dancing, Salsa. Most of all she adored spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her son, Marco Eric Lee; great granddaughter, Xyla Martinez; brother, Robert Kehler; and sister, Lydia Weiss.

Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Jessita Lee- Dood and Tamara Daniels; her son she relinquished to adoption when she was 15, Robert Kehler; her grandchildren, Tatiana Padilla, Nina-Nicole (Joseph) Caton, Crystal (Jaime) Dodd, Travis (Olivea) Smith, Justin Smith, Kayden LeFlore, Jaylin LeFlore, Jovani LeFlore, Marco Eric Lee, and Alina Lee; great grandchildren, Jolina Caton, Monique Caton, Kylo Martinez, and a baby boy on the way; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Monroe Community Hospital, 435 E Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14620.
