Obituary of Kathleen R. Ludwick Albion:Kathleen “Kathy” (Piazza) Ludwick passed away peacefully on September 2, 2017 at the Martin-Linsin Residence. She was born May 22, 1947 in Albion, a daughter of the late Tony and Helen (Bloom) Piazza and had lived in this area all of her life. Kathy had worked for the Village of Albion as the Village Clerk and Treasurer, retiring after 32 years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish where she taught Religious Ed for many years. She was one of the founding committee members of the Albion Strawberry Festival devoting many years as a volunteer and continued helping as a bookkeeper up until her death. Kathy was such a kind hearted person and was always willing to open her home for anyone in need. She loved spending time with her family but most especially her grandchildren; they were the love of her life. Kathy was the happiest when she was able to go to Disney with her entire family. Kathy is survived by her daughter Jori Ludwick of Albion; her son John (Danielle) Ludwick of Albion; her adoring grandchildren Madison, Jack and Ava; sister Annette Stilwell of Albion; brother Anthony (Priscilla) Piazza of VA; dear friend Linda Dale as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Tuesday September 5th 2-4 & 7-9. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church,Wednesday September 6th at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
