Kathy A. Gavenda

Obituary of Kathy A. Gavenda Albion: Kathy A. Gavenda, age 63, died unexpectedly on December 6, 2016. Kathy was born on May 21, 1953 in Albion to the late Frank and Elva (Radner) Gavenda and would remain in the area her whole life. Kathy worked for the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department as a deputy for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed making crafts, canning, as well as growing vegetables and flowers. She loved spending time with her nephews Tim, Kevin, Nick, Stephen, great-nephew Kaiden and great-niece Macayla. In addition to her parents, Kathy is predeceased by her brothers; Stephen “Slim” and David. Kathy is survived by her sisters; Mary (Allan “Butch”) Walter, Suellen (Jeff) Holler, sister-in-law; Lou Ann Gavenda, nephews; Tim Gavenda, Kevin (Cassie) Walter, Nick (Amber) Holler, Stephen Holler, several aunts, cousins, and countless friends. There are no prior calling hours. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
