Obituary of Kenneth L. Deskins (CARLTON/HOLLEY)
Kenneth L. Deskins Sr., age 64 of Roosevelt Highway formerly of Holley, died 1/31/14 at his residence following a long illness. He was born 1/7/1950 in Silverton, OR and had lived in this area most of his life. Ken was a 30 year employee of the Holley Central School System where he retired as the Head Custodian. He also attended the Assembly of God in Hamlin. Mr. Deskins enjoyed biking, photography, and listening to the police scanner. Ken lived his life his way with no regrets. He is survived by his loving wife and soul-mate of 19 years Gina, his sons: Kenneth Deskins Jr. of Albion, Robert Deskins of Albion, brothers: Michael(Tina)Deskins of Albion, Randy Klopp of Albion, David Klopp of Albion, sisters: Nancy(Paul)Dittman of Brockport, Wanda Swartz of Kent, Susie Deskins of Webster, Grandson: Joseph Herring of IN, daughter-in-law: Cindy Herring of IN, Godchild: Tenniyah Mitchell of Rochester, as well as several nieces and nephews who all had a special place in his heart. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, TUESDAY 10am-12pm where his Memorial Service will begin at 12pm following visitation. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Holley Fire Department or the American Heart Association. Visitation
