Obituary of Kenneth E. Drew Albion/Gaines: Kenneth E. Drew, age 91, diedOctober 22, 2018 in Elderwood at Brockport following a long illness. He was bornMay 15, 1927in Kent to Howard & Ruth (Franks) Drew and was a life-long resident of this area. In his early years he was a successful farmer. He went on to work construction and then later retired from the Orleans County Highway Department. At 25 he married the love of his life Ruth McMahon and enjoyed 67 years of marriage with his best friend. Ken was a member of the Gaines Congregational Church. He enjoyed photography, gardening, traveling, hunting, fishing, snowmobiles, boating and especially socializing with their large circle of friends. Mr. Drew was predeceased by his wife Ruth Drew and his brother Burton Drew. He is survived by his children; Deborah (Daniel) Radzinski of Spencerport, Cynthia Drew of DE, Kevin (Marilyn) Drew of Medina, his grandchildren Ryan Radzinski, Mary Radzinski, James Verhagen, Jennifer (Bryan) Frasier, Laura (Ian) Whitcroft, Heather Drew, his great grandchildren Kenny, Madison, Emma, Ruthie & Logan as well as several Nieces and Nephews. The Family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Avenue – Albion, Friday from 5pm to 8pm where his funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Private interment in Otter Creek Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 S. Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14623.
