Obituary of Kenneth Lang Albion: Kenneth J. Lang age 82, died March 4, 2014 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home. He was born December 9, 1931 in Buffalo, a son of the late Fred and Margaret (Elmore) Lang. He was a former professional boxer and was awarded the Golden Glove for two consecutive years while serving in the US Army. Ken was also a former employee of N.Y.S.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Dorothy, Bob, Fred. John. He is survived his sisters, Doris Barber of Byron, Janet Marlin of Holley; loving dear friend, Sharon DeCarlo of Albion; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Tuesday March 11, from 4:30-7:30, where his Memorial Service will follow at 7:30pm. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, 14080 Rte. 31 West, PO Box 489, Albion NY 14411 or to Orchard Manor Nursing Home, 600 Bates Rd. Medina NY 14103. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
