Obituary of Kevin Cloy (MIDDLEPORT)
Kevin W. Cloy, age 51, died 7/28/2014 in Orchard Manor Nursing Home following a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born 2/10/1963 in Niagara Falls to Donald and Judith (Dibbley) Cloy and had lived in this area all of his life. Kevin was a 1981 graduate of Royalton-Hartland Central School and a 1983 Graduate of SUNY Canton College of Technology receiving his degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Cloy was a former Dairy Herd Improvement Technician for the Cornell Cooperative Extension. He enjoyed hunting, watching football, working on the Family Farm, his many friendships and spending time with his nephew Alex. He cause many people to smile when he would ride his lawnmower from his home to the basket factory to socialize with friends. Mr. Cloy was predeceased by his father Donald Cloy. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Elizabeth "Liz", his stepson: Glen Sager of Middleport, his mother: Judith Cloy of Middleport, his brother: Donald "Ted" (Susan) Cloy of Perry, sisters: Kristen Wasnock of Barker, Melissa (Rob) Gogalock of Attica, his grand daughter: Skigh, his Father and Mother-in-law: William and Lela Lathrop as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends THURSDAY from 1-2 p.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Route 31-Middleport where a Celebration of Kevin's life will take place following visitation at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Hartland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Aid Association for Lutherans in care of Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Hospice of Orleans. Visitation
