Laura Jean Dibley

Laura Jean Dibley (Perry), 35 of Albion passed away surrounded by her family at the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence on May 30, 2022. She was born April 22, 1987, to Sandy Hapeman and the late Tom Perry in Rochester, NY.

Laura was part of the Albion Central School District graduating class of 2005. She was a free spirit with attitude. She made friends easily with her outgoing personality and sense of humor, which led her to marry her best friend and true love, Joe Dibley, on October 13, 2012. Laura loved that her birthday was on Earth Day and celebrated every year by going to the zoo to feed the elephants. What Laura loved most was being a stay-at-home mom to her son Keegan. She treasured their morning snuggles, movie watching and ice cream dates.

In addition to her father, Laura was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Dick and Dody Hapeman.

Left to carry on Laura’s memory is her husband, Joseph Dibley and son Keegan at home, her mother Sandy Hapeman (Mike Ianni), her big sister, Sarah Cassidy (John), niece and nephew, Emily and Brayden Cassidy, in-laws, Francis and Linda Dibley as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Thursday, June 2nd from 3:00-7:00pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church W. Park St. Albion, NY 14411 on Friday, June 3rd at 10:00am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
