Obituary of Lawrence J. Hartwig (WATERPORT)
Lawrence J. Hartwig, age 62, died at his home 10/13/2017 following a long illness. He was born 12/14/1954 in Batavia to Ralph and Malva (Clampet) Hartwig and would remain a lifetime resident of this area. Larry was a United States Army Veteran of Vietnam and was a former employee of SUNY Brockport and the Albion Correctional Facility where he worked as a boiler technician. He was also a tattoo artist and in his spare time enjoyed wood carving. Mr. Hartwig was predeceased by his wife Deborah. He is survived by his brothers: Harry (Lois) Hartwig of Akron, Bradley Hartwig of Waterport, a sister: Lynette Hartwig of Waterport as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
