Obituary of Rev. Lawrence "Larry" Richardson Sr. Albion: Rev. Lawrence “Larry” Richardson Sr. 75, died suddenly February 23, 2017 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. Larry was born January 8, 1942 in Flint, Michigan, a son of the late Henry and Ruth (Bozak)Richardson. Larry had lived in this area most of his life and was a former employee of Orleans County. Rev. Richardson Sr. was very proud that he was an Ordained Minister. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, preaching, riding his 4 wheeler and fishing. He was very musically inclined and loved playing the guitar, organ, harmonica and singing.
He was predeceased by his grandson Joseph Allen.
Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra; children, Judith (Carmela Allen) Richardson, Lura (Timothy) Kenward of Waterport, Larry (Amy) Richardson Jr. of Albion, Ronald (Priscilla) Richardson of Brockport and Shaun (Alisha) Richardson of Albion; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother, Rev. James (Alice) Richardson of Holley; sisters, Helen Denis of NV., and Arlene Williamson of CA; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Monday February 27, from 4:00-7:00, where Larry’s Funeral Service will be held Tuesday February 28, at 11:00am. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
