Obituary of Lena J. Mon Lena J. (Yacuzzo) Mon age 88 died Saturday January 7, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born July 24, 1928 in LeRoy NY, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Michela (Agro) Yacuzzo and had lived in this area most of her life. Lena was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Holley and the Rosary Society. She was a member of the Holley American Legion Jewell Buckman Post #529 Ladies Auxiliary. Lena had retired from General Electric in Brockport and became a member of the Quarter Century Ladies Retiree Club. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and watching old movies. She and her husband Dominic lived a full life together; they loved traveling all over the country. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Dominic; her sister Sarah; brothers Joseph, Bart, Charles, Raymond, Vincent and Michael. Lena is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins throughout the country. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rte. 31 Holley on Thursday 4-7. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 9:30am at St. Mary’s Church in Holley. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in LeRoy, NY.
