Leonard J. Bilicki

Obituary of Leonard J. Bilicki (Albion) Leonard J. Bilicki age 85 died October 14, 2013 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. He was born August 1, 1928 in Albion a son of the late George and Rose (Piatek) Bilicki and had lived in this area all of his life. Leonard had served in the US Army during Korea. He had worked as a linotype operator at the Albion Advertiser and had retired from there after working there for many years. He was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Church in Albion, Orleans County Historical Society, the EAA Albion Chapter 674 and Chapter 44 of Rochester, he was also a member of the Family Campers and RV's and he delivered meals for Meals on Wheels. Leonard was an artist, he loved paintings and NASCAR; his favorite driver was #24 Jeff Gordon. He was predeceased by his infant sister Bernadine. Leonard is survived by his wife Helen of 56 years; his son Alan (Amy) Bilicki of Medina, his daughter Elaine (Clifford) Nelson of Niagara Falls; his granddaughters Madeline and Katie; brother-in-law Norman (Joan) Ireland of Albion; sister-in-law Evelyn Homuth of Rochester and a niece and several cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Michael J.
