Obituary of Levern Austin (Albion) Levern Austin Sr. age 75 died unexpectedly on June 27, 2018 at Medina Memorial Hospital. He was born July 5, 1942 in Haines, AK and had lived in this area most of his life. Levern retired from Injected Rubber in Albion where he had worked as a Machine Operator for many years. He enjoyed fixing, rebuilding and racing cars. He loved planting flowers, listening to Quartet Gospel Music, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his children Brenda Jackson of OK, Levern (Jennifer) Austin, Jr. of Albion, Melissa Hughes of Rochester, Theresa Smith of Rochester, Vanessa (Willie) Kearney of Rochester, Katrina (Charles) Nesmith of Rochester; grandchildren Brandon and Jeffrey Thacker, Jaylen Daniels, Skye Marie Austin; the mother of his children Louise L.Green;his sister Lillian Austin as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Monday July 2nd from 10:00am-12:00pm where his Funeral Service will follow at 12:00pm.
