Lillian M. Bennett, age 89 of Pine Hill Road, died May 27, 2007 following a brief illness. She was born April 30, 1918 in the Town of Gaines to Samuel and Mary(Norman)Morrish and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mrs. Bennett was active along with her husband in running A. L. Bennett and Sons; the family business and was also active in many farming organizations throughout the years. She was a member of the Barre Center Presbyterian Church and the True Blue Mission Guild, she was also a long-time volunteer and advocate for Hospice of Orleans. She enjoyed hosting card parties at her home and also liked to spend time gardening.
