Obituary of Lillian R. Valentine (Brockport)
Lillian R. Valentine, age 93, formerly of Brockport, died 7/19/13 in the Latta Road Nursing Home following a short illness. Lillian was born 1/4/1920 in Rochester to George and Virginia(Santamaria)Romagnolo and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mrs. Valentine was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Brockport and one of the original organizers of the St. Rocco's Festival in Hulberton. She was a member of the Sweden Senior Citizen Group, a former Tax Collector for the Town of Murray and worked for many years at Rochester Products. Lillian was a very energetic person who loved to organize activities of all kinds and always enjoyed life to the fullest extent. Mrs. Valentine was predeceased by her husband Mendore, her son Peter, her daughter Carolyn Licurse and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son-in-law: Frank Licurse of Greece, daughter-in-law: Patricia Valentine of CO, grandchildren: Lisa(Rafael)Sanchez, Scott(Jennifer)Valentine, Roger(Jill)Valentine, great grandchildren: Gabriela, Anthony, Tyler, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 W. Albion Road (Rt. 31)-Holley, TUESDAY 7/23 from 3-7. Family and friends are invited to attend Lillian's Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church-Holley, WEDNESDAY 11 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery-Albion. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were made by Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Holley. Visitation
