Linda Marie Coulson Nicholas

Obituary of Linda Marie Coulson Nicholas Linda Marie Nicholas (Coulson-Leibring), age 71, of Gasport, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Medina Memorial Hospital. Born April 30, 1943 in Royalton, Linda is the daughter of the late George and Marion (Holler) Coulson. Linda graduated from Royalton-Hartland Central School in 1961and went on to receive her license of hairdressing and cosmetology in 1963. She was self-employed as a beautician for over 40 years. She was also employed by Ridge Road Express and drove school bus for the Royalton-Hartland School district from 1977 until her retirement in 2006. Linda was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Gasport and a life member of the Gasport Fire Hall Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping, spending time with her family and loved to be outdoors tending her gardens. Linda was predeceased by her late husband: Richard Nicholas. Dear mother of: Jill (Bret) Eldridge and Tammy (Donnie Barker) Hayes both of Middleport, step-mother of: Mark Nicholas of Middleport; grandmother of: Nicholas (Kristina) Leibring, Kelsey and Carly Eldridge and Kodey Hayes; great grandmother of: Kaden Leibring. Also surviving Linda is her sister: Elizabeth Bateman of Medina and brothers-in-law: Norman “Brud” Nicholas of Lockport, David (Lynne) Nicholas of Newfane, Gerald “Jerry” Nicholas of Florida and Melvin Nicholas of Rapids; several nieces and nephews and a very dear niece, Martha Ulrich. Linda was predeceased by two great-grandchildren: Brody and Riley Leibring. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 4 pm until 8 pm at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 am from Zion Lutheran Church, 4447 Central Avenue, Gasport, NY.
