Obituary of Lloyd T. Jones Lloyd T. Jones of Middleport passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital. Mr. Jones was born in Middleport on October 8, 1936 son of the late Carl and Matie (Thiel) Jones amd he has lived in Middleport all of his life. He was employed at Harrison Radiator Division retiring after 40 plus years. He and his wife Geneva (Davis) Jones were married July 11, 1959. He was a lifetime member of the Hartland Conservation Club and was a pistol safety instructor for New York State. He was also a hunting training instructor and a member of the Medina Railroad Museum. Mr. Jones enjoyed his family, hunting and was a avid railroad lantern collector. He was predeceased by his wife Geneva M. Jones on April 9, 2004 and by a sister Joyce Freck. He is survived by three daughters Audrey Jones, Bonnie Jones and Candy (Paul) McQueen all of Middleport, seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a brother-in-law Donald Freck of Medina. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Rodney Klinzing officiating. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery. Memorials to the Medina Railroad Museum or the Hartland Conservation Club would be appreciated by the Jones family.
