Obituary of Lois I. Dill (Holley) Lois I. Dill age 85 died September 30, 2013 at the Villages of Orleans. She was born March 9, 1928 in Holley, a daughter of the late George and Marguerite (Nesbitt) Murphy and had lived in this area all of her life. Lois was member of St. Mary's Church, Holley Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Jewell Buckman Post #529 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She served as past president for the Orleans County PTA and was also the past truant officer for Holley Central Schools. Lois loved spending time with her family, camping and spending her winters in Corpus Christi, TX. She was predeceased by her husband Alvin in 2008; her brother Robert Murphy and her nephew Paul Rocco. She is survived by her children David (Brenda) Dill of Holley, Dianne (Ralph) Herbert of Sheridan WY, Daniel (Nancy) Dill of Holley; grandchildren Jennifer (John), Joshua (Kate), Tristan, Juli (Matthias), Danna (Sedar) Jessica, Steven; great-grandchildren Michael and Hannah; brothers William (Eleanor Nichols) Murphy of Holley, Harold (Amy) Murphy of SC; her sister Betty (Tom) Rocco of Holley; sister-in-law Dorothy (Durwood) Keller of E. Aurora; brother-in-law Robert (Paula) Barrus of Holley and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 RTE. 31 (W. Albion Rd.) Holley on Friday 4-8. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
