Lonnie Green Sr., age 74, died July 15, 2024 following a short illness. He was born May 10, 1950 in Rockingham, NC to Fred and Eva (Wall) Green and had lived in this area most of his life.
Lonnie was a United States Marine Corp. Veteran of the Vietnam War and attended St. Paul Baptist Church in Albion. He enjoyed dancing, going to the Casino and was a very family-oriented individual. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. Mr. Green was predeceased by brothers: Lester Wall, Luther Green and sisters: Virginia Green, Marion Green, and Sheila Hildreth.
He is survived by his children: Lonnie Green Jr. of Albion, Simona (Kevin) Jefferson of Rochester, Latoya Green of Elmira, Carlos Green of Elmira, his brothers: Robert Green and Thomas Hildreth both of Albion, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
